  • First, enable DHCP. From the Start menu, search for the My Network Places option. Right-click on it and select the Properties option.
  • Next, choose the Properties from the Local Area Connection drop-down list.
  • Scroll the screen downwards and choose the Internet Protocol(IP) option followed by the Properties option.
  • Click on the Obtain an IP Address Automatically option and then the Obtain DNS Server Address Automatically option.
  • Tap the OK button and then exit from the Local Area Connection Properties window.
  • Next, check if the DHCP Lease Time has expired. It will expire after 3600 seconds. Set it to 86400 seconds.
  • Check if the number of CPEs available in the DHCP pool have been exhausted.
  • Finally, check the IP Address Assignments by navigating to the GATEWAY menu.
  • Go to the DHCP section, and you will find the list of IP address assignments.
